Sam's Adventures

 Let me first introduce you to the reason behind this project.  With summer fast approaching, and my job taking considerably more physical labor than I've ever done, I've found myself sweating buckets while at work. While I normally preach my hatred of Polyester and her accursed sisters, most of my work clothes have inadvertently ended up being cheap, mass manufacturered pieces of (quite literally) hot garbage. Most of this is because of the fact I wear through it so quickly, I don't have the time it takes me to design, mock up, buy and sew a full garment. But this also means that the ready to wear clothing I buy (despite being a decently expensive investment), is almost all poly or mostly poly. I'm working to fix that.  Hello again!  It's now four days since I took my cat to get neutered, and it was definitely an adventure! After waking up at 6-something in the morning, I packed up my cat and drove across town to pick up my sister (Real MVP of the whole day). Together, we took Hades and dropped him off at the mobile vet downtown at 8am sharp. I had my weighted blanket with me while I was driving, which definitely helped. Having someone else go with me was honestly probably the only reason I was able to do it at all, though. Then my sister and I spent the entire morning at my apartment, making breakfast and sewing. I worked on my bra replica project, and she worked on cutting out a pants pattern out of a pretty dusty pink cotton. I had honestly a very good time despite being so overly tired, and before we knew it it was time to go pick my cat back up.
